The Cub Scout Program has been re-energized and one major change for the boys is that we have said goodbye to the Cub Scout Promise.
Now, both Cub Scouts and Boy Scouts have the same Oath and Law. When your son has learned one of them, have them recite it for Mr. Schnake or Mr. Anderson to receive a special treat.

The Scout Oath:
On my honor, I will do my best
To do my duty, to God and my country
and to obey the Scout Law;
To help other people at all times;
To keep myself physically strong,
mentally awake, and morally straight.
The Scout Law:
A Scout is…
trustworthy, loyal, helpful,
friendly, courteous, kind,
obedient, cheerful, thrifty,
brave, clean, and reverent.
Suggestions for help learning it:
- Print it and make a puzzle.
- Memorize one line a day.
